This is what the trail looks like, steep, but pretty good footing. We are lucky that it is dry, would be challenging if it was wet and slippery.
Getting low enough to really see the black sand beach.
And here is the view of the valley behind the beach.
Foot prints...I don't think we were the first people here....all the cars in the parking lot should have been our first hint.
Where we descended, you can see the trail in the trees, zigzagging up.
